The Parra family -- who've owned and operated this cheerful restaurant for over 30 years -- make frequent trips to Mexico for menu ideas and cook up several family specialties. Beyond the standard tacos, burritos, and chimichangas are dishes such as crepas de pollo, little crepes filled with tender chunks of chicken and topped with a chipotle cream sauce; sincronizada, potatoes, cheese, and pico de gallo sandwiched between two fresh flour tortillas and served with rice and beans; and reboltijo ajijic, grilled plantain topped with beef or chicken. Raters are mixed on the service -- some found it friendly and attentive, others had trouble -- but all enjoyed the innovative fare.
