Emi Tanabe Duo (Violin/Guitar) at Julius Meinl Coffeehouse

Emi Tanabe began studying violin at the age of three. She attended Eastman School of Music, University of North Texas and Roosevelt University. Her orchestral experience includes Cleveland Baroque orchestra, Chicago Civic orchestra, Richardson symphony, Atlanta Baroque Orchestra and more. Emi played for a motion picture soundtrack produced by the Film Academy of Prague. She was a studio musician for Rosehip Records and HiZ Productions. She was a guest violinist for the Irish choir “ANUNA��� (2007 US Tour) as well as their PBS program “Christmas Memories��� (2008). Julius Meinl offers traditional European coffee and tea service, breakfast, lunch, dinner and house-made pastries. Staying true to Viennese coffeehouse culture, both Meinl coffeehouses are filled with sounds of live classical or jazz music every weekend evening. Music is free; musicians graciously accept gratuities.
