Enchanted April

In 1922, a frustrated Englishwoman (Josie Lawrence) married to a social climber (Alfred Molina) gets together with three other women and rents a castle in Italy for a month. Mike Newell directed this 1992 English feature from a script by Peter Baines based on a novel by Elizabeth Von Arnim, and the film was shot the same place the book was written. With Miranda Richardson, Joan Plowright, and Polly Walker; the music is by Richard Rodney Bennett.
