To the editors:
I draw your attention to an error in "The Healing Tao" (September 27, 1991). In paragraph 5 we are told that Chrystal Marshall was "raised a Methodist and studied Islam, Buddhism, and Yoruba . . ."
Yoruba is not a religion. Yoruba is the name of an African people (Nigeria and elsewhere) and their language. Some Yoruba practice animism; maybe that's what she means.
