Everybody Go Home

Alberto Sordi as an Italian army officer who can't decide whether to throw in his lot with the retreating fascists or the successfully invading Allies during World War II. Director Luigi Comencini's comedies (Bread, Love and Dreams) tend to be more amiable than biting, though this one is said to have a sharper edge than most (1960). 120 min.
