Farm Frozen Agenda Recommended

When: Sun., Jan. 13, 10 a.m. 2013

OK, so maybe you can't lazily mill around in the warm sunshine eyeing bushels of kale and craft hot sauces and melting every time you see a purebred Pomeranian prance by, but the city's farmers markets are still camping out—they're just seeking cozier confines through the cold season. The Glenwood Sunday Market reopens today (9 AM-2 PM) at the Glenwood Bar in Rogers Park (6962 N. Glenwood), the Logan Square Farmers' Market can be found every Sunday (10 AM-3 PM) in the Congress Theater (2135 N. Milwaukee), and the granddaddy of 'em all, the Green City Market, reconvenes January 19 in the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum (2430 N. Cannon).
