Fillet of Solo Recommended Member Picks Agenda The Short List (Theater) Closing (Theater and Galleries)

When: Thursdays-Sundays. Continues through Jan. 20 2013

Rather than becoming a newly minted hazard on our roadways, the Fillet of Solo festival is celebrating its 16th year in (slightly) less dangerous fashion: an epic, multiweek, multivenue extravaganza. Tonight's highlights include the "lesbigay" sketch stylings of GayCo and writer Amanda Rountree's new improv-based solo piece 185 Buddhas Walk Into a Bar. In the days that follow, look for Write Club’s bare-knuckle literary brawls, performances from the comedy troupe Kates, and all manner of edgy first-person fun. Definitely cooler than your 16th birthday party. And with a lot less acne. Hell, we even wrote a festival sidebar for it.

Price: $10-$30
