Films By David Lynch

A pair of pre-Eraserhead shorts from the smile-button surrealist. The Grandmother is a half-hour live-action/animated session with a family of biomorphic extraordinaries: mom and dad, who sprout from the ground and bark like dogs, and lonesome junior, who needs a friend and decides to grow his own. The Alphabet is a very quick run through the ABCs that's been described as “Sesame Street gone berserk.”
