Harrison Ford carries this talky, formulaic thriller by virtue of his authority, culled from years in front of the camera, but his performance can't obscure the obvious plot machinations. A security officer at a Seattle bank, he's pushed to the breaking point when his wife (Virginia Madsen) and two children are taken hostage by a vicious cybercriminal (Paul Bettany) who wants Ford to transfer $100 million into an offshore account. The early domestic tussles over computers, robotic toys, and dog tags telegraph just how dad is going to get his loved ones out of the soup. Richard Loncraine directed; with Robert Patrick, Robert Forster, and Mary Lynn Rajskub. PG-13, 103 min.
