Fluxfest Member Picks

When: Feb. 15-20 2011

A festival accompanying the MCA's ongoing exhibit Without You I'm Nothing: Art and its Audience pays tribute to Fluxus, the anarchic, eclectic, and participatory "anti-art" movement that originated in NYC in the 1960s. Events, as you might imagine, are quite various, and include a tribute to John Cage and Yoko Ono at 12:15 PM on 2/17, the remixing of a score by Chopin by musician Matthew Lee Knowles at 12:36 PM on 2/18, and an appearance by experimental poetry ensemble Be Blank Consort at 12:34 PM on 2/19. There's more; see online for details.
