For Profit Closing (Theater and Galleries) New Review (Theater and Comedy) The Short List (Theater)

When: Fridays, Saturdays. Continues through May 14 2011

Abraham Werewolf's hyper-meta-theatrical play is all about overstating its intentions . . . yet they're still elusive at the end of the night. The show is either an absurd comedy, a satire, or a ruse. Most scenes vaguely, lightly skewer the theatermaking process, but there's more irony-soaked style than substance. Notable exceptions include a hyperbolic look at how eager young actors are packaged and a thoughtful scene in which a recently broken-up couple try to save their relationship by soliciting actors to replay pivotal moments in their life together. --Dan Jakes
