A restless and rootless young Israeli-American (Itay Tiran) quits New York to join the Israeli army, and combat trauma lands him in a haunted asylum where the unquiet spirits of massacred Palestinians do nothing for recovery rates. The staff shrink (Makram Khoury) tries treating him with a memory-erasing drug; he'd be better off listening to the oracular pronouncements of another patient (Moni Moshonov), a blind Holocaust survivor. Writer-director Udi Aloni plainly favors peace, love, and understanding, but this amateurish parable is politically gaseous and dramatically inert. In English and subtitled Hebrew and Arabic. 107 min.
