University of Chicago Graham School Freelance Editing and Writing Panel Discussion Have you ever wondered what it takes to be a freelance editor or writer? On March 4, 2010 the University of Chicago Graham School and the Career and Professional Services Office (CAPS) will host a freelance writing and editing panel discussion covering such topics as: the advantages and disadvantages of being a freelancer, what hiring managers are looking for, and how to get your business started. This event is free and open to the public but, due to limited space, reservations are required. Please RSVP to Amber Neff, Editing Certificate manager, at aneff@uchicago.edu. This event will begin at 6:30pm in Room 40 of the Gleacher Center (located at 450 N. Cityfront Drive). Light refreshments will be provided. Panelists are Anita Samen, Sonia Fulop, and Monica Westin.
