Rim a rocks glass by rubbing a slice of lemon around the lip, then dipping it into a mixture of toasted sesame seeds and sugar

Pour two ounces of Grey Goose vodka into a shaker.

Add a half ounce of soy-sesame simple syrup, made with two parts water to one part low-sodium soy sauce and dash of toasted sesame oil.

To that add a squeeze of fresh lemon.

Two dashes of Fee Brothers chocolate bitters

And a quarter teaspoon of grated ginger

Add ice and shake.

Strain into the prepared glass.

Garnish with a slice of candied ginger and a soy-sauce ice cube, made with a bit of soy sauce added to the water before freezing.
