Go Into Your Dance

Al Jolson as a Broadway star whose addiction to horse racing costs him a suspension from a show; Ruby Keeler (Mrs. Jolson) is the chorus girl who straightens him up. A Warner Brothers musical without Busby Berkeley's choreography doesn't seem authentic, though this one does have a Dubin and Warren score that includes “About a Quarter to Nine” and “She's a Latin From Manhattan.” With Helen Morgan, Glenda Farrell, Benny Rubin, Barton MacLane, Patsy Kelly, and Akim Tamiroff; Archie Mayo directed (1935).
