Free Street opens its 51st season with solo artist Melissa DuPrey's piece about being on the road with her mother, whose bipolar disorder went undiagnosed until five years before her death. DuPrey examines what her mother's story means in the context of the disparities in diagnosis and treatment of mental illness in communities of color and offers perspectives on holistic healing as well. The performance on Monday, December 16 is ADA accessible.
