Goose and Gert Free The Short List (Theater) Closing (Theater and Galleries)

When: Mondays, Fridays-Sundays. Continues through July 26 2021

Kerfuffle offers a free family-friendly program designed for children six and under as part of the Chicago Park District's "Night Out in the Parks" program. The play, written and directed by Kerfuffle artistic director Ashley Laverty and originally developed in partnership with Omaha's Rose Theater, is a nonverbal play about Gert, who is looking for peace and quiet, and Goose, who just wants a friend. It features found-object puppetry and live music. Audiences are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets and will be asked to space out at least three feet apart and wear masks. Children can meet the (masked) actors after the 45-minute performance.
