Goose Island beer dinner

When: Sun., Jan. 25, 5-10 p.m. 2009

Goose Island brewer Greg Hall kicks off the Publican's new monthly beer dinners, pairing Saison d'Espoir, Juliet, Madame Rose, Matilda, and Bourbon County Stout with dishes including mussels with orange and chile and game bird with blood sausage. Upcoming dinners (last Sunday of the month): Three Floyds, February; Flossmoor Station, March; St. Feuillien, April; Jolly Pumpkin, May.

Price: $45 for dinner, additional $20 for beer pairings
