Great Chicago Fire Festival Recommended Free Agenda The Short List (Theater) Image

When: Sat., Oct. 4 2014

It seems uncouth to have a festival in honor of Chicago's biggest disaster, but that's not what Redmoon's inaugural Great Chicago Fire Festival is all about. Not really, anyway. The festivities begin with a bazaar along the downtown river walk that features craft vendors, food, and entertainment courtesy of Redmoon and culminates with a ceremonial performance in which floating sculptures resembling pre-1871 houses are set ablaze.
