Nick Green's misapprehension of the controversial Warhawks and Lindberghs [Section Two, May 15] begins with his neglect to read the play's title. WarHawks and Lindberghs deals with Anne Morrow Lindbergh as much as it does with her husband. Mr. Green's sexist suppression of the crucial female role in the story is typical of the way white men have always forced the shape of their own gender unto history. I found the play to be full of insight and brilliantly staged.
