Halloween Parade Recommended Free Agenda

When: Mon., Oct. 31 2011

There are few holidays more deserving of a blowout parade than Halloween. Now in its 15th year, the Northalsted Halloween Parade marches its way up Halsted tonight, featuring buckets of fake blood, outrageous makeup, and probably a mind-boggling light show or two. The parade begins at Spin Nightclub (800 W. Belmont), and you can register between 5 and 6PM (it's free). Prizes will awarded for best pet costume, best drag costume, scariest adult costume, and audience choice, among other categories. It wraps up around 8 PM at Bradley and Halsted, just north of Addison. —Kevin Warwick
