The walls of this warm space connected to Schubas are lined with paintings by local musicians, and presentations are surprisingly elaborate for casual dining: cheesy potato empanadas came arranged over artfully scattered greens and swirls of a tasty tamarind sauce, and even the meat loaf was piled into a tower over mashed potatoes and served with delicate baby carrots and haricots verts. The eclectic menu--burgers, gumbo, fish tacos, a turkey club, mac 'n' cheese--has embraced the locally grown/organic trend, so there's grass-fed Tallgrass beef and produce from regional growers. Service is capable and friendly.
