Harvey Danger, So Many Dynamos Early Warnings (Music) Recommended Soundboard

When: Sat., Aug. 15, 7 p.m. 2009

Despite a 15-year career and three pretty great, literate records, Seattle’s Harvey Danger have always been known as a one-hit band—and now that they’ve announced their imiminent but amicable demise, it looks like the indelible 1998 single “Flagpole Sitta” will serve as the epitaph for this fun, clever pop-rock group. Harvey Danger are beginning their brief bid-you-adieu tour here, and in case you haven’t stayed caught up with the band, their last album, 2005’s Little by Little . . . (Kill Rock Stars), is still available as a pay-whatchoo-want download on their Web site. There's a second show at 10 PM, but it's sold out. —Jessica Hopper

Price: $14, 18+
