HDFest 2000

A four-day festival of screenings and seminars devoted to the new format of high-definition video. Program one includes episodes from two sci-fi series (Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict and LEXX), Matt Palmer's short western The Outlaws, and Frank Foster's documentary The Story of Computer Graphics. Program two includes a second episode of Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict, Jonathan West's feature What's Eating You?, and the world premiere of Inside-Out and Backwards by festival founders Marisa Cohen and Issac Alexander. Program three includes an episode from the TV series The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne, animation by Steve Katz and Chris Gilligan, Brent Florence's feature Solid Ones, Robert Fleet's feature Last Mountain, and Jin Ishimoto's The Hole. Program four includes the world premiere of Sean Ferrar's feature Racehoss and the midwest premiere of IVANXTC, starring Peter Weller and directed by Bernard Rose (Candyman, Immortal Beloved). Rose will attend the screening.
