Helen Shiller must be doing something important and right to elicit the venom and bitter ooze of some sore-loser property owners and their lackeys, via their faucet at the more mediocre of Chicago's two dailies [Hot Type, August 20; Letters, September 3].

These sick souls want to jump-start the traditional displacement of the poor of Uptown (class version of ethnic cleansing) who have been here since time immemorial.

I only hope to have a safe distance from these same souls come Judgment Day. I predict the fallout will be intense and the stink unbearable.
