Don't bother with the plot of this S-M fantasia from Hong Kong (1998); it serves only to propel us from one outrageous sequence to the next. Cat (Almen Wong) is a noodle-slurping, extremely nimble assassin who battles nemeses from the mainland and falls for a Eurasian cop (Michael Wong, who alternates between Cantonese and English for no apparent reason). Director Clarence Fok puts Cat into a variety of tight outfits and kinky trysts, but he's most interested in brutalizing her. The violence quickly becomes tiresome, though Fok does offer a delirious vision of Hong Kong as a chaotic urban jungle. Strictly a cult item.
