Holly Days festival Recommended Agenda

When: Dec. 27-30 2011

If the relatives are sticking around a bit too long and your mind is melting from hearing young nieces and nephews quote one too many lines from Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, the Art Institute's family-friendly Holly Days festival, which begins today and runs through Friday, may offer some momentary relief. Activities include an interactive family gallery walk, a visit to the picture-book exhibition Animals Around the World, and the opportunity to create paper animal sculptures. Plus, Archie the Lion will be shuffling around the museum today only to greet children and give them high fives. Holy moly! —Kevin Warwick

Price: $18, $12 children 14 and over, students, and seniors, free for children under 14
