Holocaust Letter Not Kosher

To the editors:

I do not believe for a moment that the letter headlined "Fetishists of the Holocaust" and signed "Name withheld" in your issue of 8/3/90 is Jewish. It is inconceivable that anyone whose family was erased in the Holocaust would be so forgiving.

Surely some editor in your shop should have been more discerning.

The give-away? The entire letter, actually, but to have alluded to any children of the Holocaust as "reactionary bastards," as did your correspondent, is the ultimate proof.

You have been deceived. Shame!
