Hyde Park Jazz Festival Recommended Free Early Warnings (Music) Soundboard

When: Sat., Sept. 27, 12 p.m. 2008

The second annual Hyde Park Jazz Festival is a full day of free music spread across 12 venues in Hyde Park, presented by the Hyde Park Cultural Alliance, the Hyde Park Jazz Society, and the University of Chicago. Free shuttles will connect the venues throughout the fest, and from noon to 10 PM cyclists can lock up at a bike-valet station that’s located on the shuttle route. Food and drink vendors on the Midway Plaisance (near the main stage) include Goose Island, Robinson’s No. 1 Ribs, Istria Cafe, and Chant; some venues sell food and drink as well. Seating at certain locations is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
