Spike Kunetz's new comedy is an amusing but poorly structured look at the everyday dramas that take place while three sets of people at an airport wait for the weather to clear. Kunetz has mastered the one-liner, and the Crawford Hose Co. Productions cast, directed by Jason Kae, is solid enough to keep the laughs bouncing along without ever descending into forced sitcom happy talk. Yet the work never takes flight, partly because the transitions are sluggish, partly because no theme unifies the vignettes, and partly because there's too much desultory humor and not enough revelation. Shortened and tightened, however, this play could be a hit. Through 10/29: Thu-Sat 8 PM. Trap Door Theatre, 1655 W. Cortland, 773-384-0494. $15.
