ICA: That Sounds Fishy

When: Sun., Jan. 24, 4 p.m. 2010

Please join The International Chamber Artists for their first performance of 2010 - an afternoon musical journey down a river. ICA will be serving Franz Schubert and his musical helping of a fish dish: Quintet in A Major, Op. 114, D. 667, the “Trout” Quintet. Brass fishers will catch two great works, a Bach-inspired hit by Dahl: Music for Brass Instruments and a sharply-etched gem exploiting brass colors and sonorities by Lutoslawski: Mini Overture. Add soprano and a blend of classical and jazz idioms and you will bait Previn's fish story: Four Songs. All this by a talented group of musicians / fishermen and Artistic Director / Captain Patrick Godon on January 24th, Sunday at 4:00PM at St. Gregory the Great Church. ICA concerts are free with a suggested donation of $15.
