The vanishing habitat of wild orchids is the theme of this spring’s orchid show at the Chicago Botanic Garden. On March 26 and 27, exhibitors and vendors display colorful orchid plants, artwork and educational exhibits based on the theme Wild Orchids: A Vanishing World. Orchids are on display throughout the Garden’s exhibit halls and Greenhouse Galleries. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 26 and Sunday, March 27. More than twenty orchid vendors sell orchids, including exotic species and hybrids. Growing supplies, pots, and orchid related art are available for purchase, along with the society’s bark mix.
