The new Chicago charity In Chef’s Hands—Food Therapy for the Soul hosts its first fund-raiser, offering drinks, appetizers, and charcuterie stations. Chefs Rodelio Aglibot and Todd Stein launched the nonprofit to offer “epicurean adventures” to people with special needs, such as physical disabilities or debilitating illnesses, who are passionate about food and cooking. They’ll be paired with participating chefs, including Jared Van Camp (Old Town Social), Andrew Zimmerman (Sepia), Michelle Garcia (Bleeding Heart Bakery), and Chris Pandel (the Bristol), for one-on-one instruction.
