Israeli Scout Caravan Performance

When: Sun., Aug. 15, 4 p.m. 2010

The Tzofim Friendship Caravan, consisting of 17-year old Tzofim (Israeli Scouts), will perform a free concert at 4:00 p.m., Sun., Aug. 15 at Temple Jeremiah, 937 Happ Rd., Northfield. These young entertainers serve as emissaries, teaching about Israel through a unique blend of song, dance and story. They are part of the 60,000 member international Tzofim (Israeli Scout) movement, the only non-political, non-sectarian youth movement in Israel, and provide a powerful connection between American and Israeli Jews. The group holds concerts at camps, community centers, churches and senior homes across North America each summer. To learn more, visit
