It's Only Money

83 minutes

Jerry Lewis and his mentor, director Frank Tashlin, in one of their later and least effective teamings (1962). The creaky plotline—private eyes and stolen inheritances—is clearly a “vehicle” in the way few of Tashlin's films were. Still, it allows for a few of Tashlin's wonderfully inventive sight gags, ripped straight from the days when he was an animator at Warner Brothers. With Zachary Scott, Jesse White, and Joan O'Brien.
