Izard as cultural catalyst Agenda Recommended

Girl & the Goat owner and executive chef Stephanie Izard, who earlier this year applied a lacquer of confectioners' sugar to the surface of a steak for the Reader's Key Ingredient series, kicks off a new year of the Museum of Contemporary Art's speaker series Culture Catalysts tonight with an informal discussion and book signing. Izard's book, Girl in the Kitchen: How a Top Chef Cooks, Thinks, Shops, Eats and Drinks, came out in October. —Sam Worley
