Japanesque Fall Masque

When: Sat., Nov. 27, 6 p.m. 2010

Colorful Leaves (koyo) are to the Japanese autumn what cherry blossoms are to spring. The viewing of autumn leaves is an ancient activity where people gathered and took their time to reflect on the passing summer, moving forward towards winter. Join MadHatter in bringing an aspect of this tradition to Chicago in a burst of glitter and leaves indoors. Dress in your favorite kimono, Gothic and Lolita dress, Garyu fashion, Aristocratic-Venetian…whatever clothes you put on, be sure to wear a mask.

Price: 5.00 in advance 8.00 at the door
