If you thought the oboe was mainly for dinky little Vivaldi concerti, forget it. "Organic Oboe" is the title of one of Joseph Celli's albums, which gives a hint of the close physical and spiritual relationship between man and instrument here. This bearded virtuoso from Connecticut will make the oboe wheeze, walk, and wail like the wind itself. These days he's using video in his work, and tonight's concert will include several pieces for live performer with multiple video images, as well as a film by Celli's friend Phill Niblock. Tonight, 9 PM, Link's Hall, 3435 N. Sheffield; 565-1787 or 281-0824.
