Just Say No, Chicago

Thank you very much for the recent article on foie gras ["When Activists Attack," Our Town, June 22]. I am one of the many citizens who have called their alderman to respectfully ask that he vote to uphold the foie gras ban, should the matter come before the City Council for a vote.

Fifteen countries and the state of California have also legislated against the sale or production of foie gras. Chicago shouldn't fall off this list.
