According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the average commute in the Chicago Metro Area is 31.6 minutes, one of the nation’s longest. To help Chicagoans improve their less than perfect morning commutes, Keurig will serve free freshly-brewed gourmet coffee. Commuters can choose, brew and enjoy a perfect cup of coffee at a Keurig coffee booth, receive special brewer discounts and learn more about the company’s ongoing efforts to give back to the local community. Keurig will donate $10,000 to The Greater Chicago Food Depository, Chicago’s food bank, and a nonprofit food distribution and training center providing food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in the community. Keurig will be at Union Station from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13 - Friday, October 16.
