Kill Hard, the Live Action Movie Closing (Theater and Galleries) The Short List (Theater)

When: Saturdays. Continues through May 22 2010

Billed as an "interactive play that puts you so close to the action you can smell the testosterone and feel it all across your face," this hour-long play, written and directed by Dre Robinson, provides little more than gratuitous sarcasm and raunch. The idea is that "Eastern European/Asian/Middle Eastern terrorists" have crashed the premiere of Tsunami--a movie blockbuster with an $800,000,000 budget--and taken its audience (us) hostage. Our fate lies in the hands of Agent Pressure Pressure, an out-of-work actor gone commando, who joins forces with a Tsunami starlet. Prepare to stand frequently and get up close and personal with a big, pink dildo. --Marissa Oberlander
