A celebration of south Asian and diaspora literature and arts, with readings, panels, and performances. Featured authors are Romesh Gunesekera (The Match), Amitava Kumar (Husband of a Fanatic: A Personal Journey Through India, Pakistan, Love, and Hate), and Bapsi Sidhwa (The Pakistani Bride).Events Thursday evening to Friday 5 PM are at venues at the University of Illinois at Chicago; check in at UIC's Stevenson Hall, Institute for the Humanities, 701 S. Price: $30-$60, $25-$50 in advance; $40 Sat-Sun only, $30 Sat only, $25 Sun only, $5 for Bapsi Sidhwa reading only (Fri 5:30 PM)
