Lady and the Tramp

Disney animation from 1955. It's not bad, but Disney's imagination seems at a low ebb here, saddled with a shrunken, excessively naturalistic style in line with the diminished possibilities of postwar animation, and not yet graced by the inspiration that would redeem that style in Sleeping Beauty. The film is fun, but don't expect a classic. 75 min.
