In re Jonathan Pollack's letter (November 18)

Stick your head in the musical sand if you must, Jonathan, but please don't insult those of us who enjoy all the rest of the musical spectrum you so snobbishly label "shit." Tell you what, Jon, find yourself a good mail-order outlet, and you'll never have to leave your house, thereby avoiding all those "purple-haired stockboys" and "porcupine-coiffed checkout girls" and anyone else who's not like you. Classical might be your choice of music, but I see no point in the elitist dismissal of everything and everybody else. How sad!
