Less Than Zero

To the editors:

I realize that it's a simple mistake. A simple error that anyone could have made. But the subtle difference between what you printed as the name of my band and the actual name of my band has enormous ramifications. I am not in, nor would I have anything to do with, a band called Misery Loves Company. And while it's not a bad sitcom title, it is a horrific band name. You see, my band is lousy. We're in a battle of bad bands. Our actual worth is minimal. Our cool outfits and our catchy name are our best attributes. With no picture alongside the blurb in the calendar of January 19, 1990 we were reduced to less than zero. For the record our name is exactly The Misery Love Co. Now THAT'S a name for a band.
