Let's Do It Again

110 minutes

Originality has nothing to do with it, but this Sidney Poitier-Bill Cosby comedy can be a lot of fun. In a sequel, of sorts, to Uptown Saturday Night, Cosby and Poitier are two lodge brothers who “invest” the building fund on a middleweight fight, which Poitier hopes to fix by putting a whammy on one of the contenders, J.J. “Dyn-o-mite” Walker. The script belongs to Abbott and Costello, but it's good to see how well the old jokes can still work.
