The National Public Housing Museum presents a self-guided tour of Lincoln Park, tracing its history as a Puerto Rican community and "the struggles of the Young Lords to organize, raise political awareness, and resist gentrification." It's presented in conjunction with Victory Gardens's The Redline Project, an ongoing series of panel discussions and other events on the role of racism and gentrification along the north side el line that serves as a collaboration between Victory Gardens resident director Jess McLeod and Blu Rhythm Collective, which will eventually become a performance piece.
