Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Steppenwolf, who first collaborated on The Song of Jacob Zulu in 1992, reunite with this world premiere by ensemble member and Zulu author Eric Simonson, codirected by Simonson and Jonathan Berry. Cedric Young, a star of Zulu, returns to Steppenwolf along with South African film star Nondumiso Teme in this love story that moves between Chicago's blues scene, South Africa, and beyond.
