With the formidable Reeling Film Festival on hiatus, the Little Queer Film Festival has modestly stepped into its place to promote LGBT filmmaking. Featuring a lineup of six films—including Lesbian Factory, a documentary about migrant workers in Taiwan facing abuse and unfair work conditions, and I Do, a romantic comedy about a gay man who marries his lesbian friend so she can procure a green card—the festival aims to "touch on a wide range of issues and raise awareness of LGBT equality." Visit the LQFF site for a full schedule and info on upcoming events.
Price: $14 per screening, $9 in advance
