Live Painting with Live Music from the Netherlands to Chicago on Live Radio Member Picks Image

When: Thu., March 11, 11 a.m. 2010

BOOM! SPLASH! BANG! SQUISH! Live painting with live music mixes artistic disciplines in a way that is unpredictable and always a challenge, when it is done on stage in front of a live audience anything can happen and usually does. Live painting with live music is improvisation at it’s highest level. Artwork is created in front of the audience to spontaneously composed music that is driven as much by the brushstrokes of the painters as the paint is inspired by the notes and the rhythms of the musicians. 11 March - 11AM - Suggested Donation $5 Live Radio Broadcast - WNUR 89.3FM Bassist, Wilbert de Joode and painters Tali Farchi & Royce Deans and Friends WNUR Studios 1877 Campus Drive Evanston, IL
